Strong Girls, Strong World: Power & Resilience

In recognition of International Day of the Girl Child, the South Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, in partnership with Miramar High School and L.I.F.E. Foundation, Inc., presents Strong Girls, Strong World: Power & Resilience.

This empowering event is designed to equip young women with knowledge, resources, and tools to confidently navigate some of the challenges they face today while preparing for their futures.

Participants will engage in workshops addressing managing social anxiety, gender identity and body positivity, healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, career exploration and planning after high school, and scholarships and grants.

A special parent session, “Her Next Chapter: Planning for Life After High School,” will also provide parents and guardians with information to help support their daughters as they prepare for the next stage of their lives.
