The South Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in association with the Hallendale Beach Police Department and Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. presents an event to raise awareness to domestic violence and behavioral health in our community.
October 21, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., there will be a FREE community resource fair featuring local non-profit organizations, including information sessions covering various topics of domestic violence , human trafficking, elderly abuse, and behavioral health awareness.
We will also be accepting the following donations for victims of Domestic Violence:
- Toiletries (Soap, deodorant, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, etc.)
- Gently Used Purses and Tote Bags
- Baby items (diapers – all sizes, baby wipes, formula, baby food, clothing – new/all sizes)
- Children/teen items (hair accessories, artsand crafts sets, teen books, play cards, coloring books, crayons)
THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC OF ALL AGES.
