Greetings and welcome to the homepage of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, South Broward Alumnae Chapter!!! Our dynamic and innovative chapter provides public service to the South Broward community from the Atlantic Ocean to the Florida Everglades.
Please browse our pages to learn more about programs and initiatives sponsored by South Broward Alumnae Chapter. Annual service projects include the award-winning Delta GEMS/EMBODI female/male mentoring program; Women’s Health Symposium; and our award-winning American Cancer Society Relay for Life participation. Additionally, our Signature Red Shoe Luncheon and Chic Deltas after Dark Affairs have been instrumental in supporting our service projects and scholarship awards.
The Sorority has had a glorious year of history making events, from a float in the prestigious Rose Bowl parade on New Year’s Day to the largest week long National Convention ever to grace the streets of Washington, DC, with more than 40,000 Delta’s, family and friends in attendance. South Broward Alumnae makes history again in 2013, as we will be the first African American non-profit organization to sponsor a Yacht in the 42nd Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade.
